Program Description The “International Justice Studies” stream in the Master of Public Policy & Administration program prepares graduates to lead government and community efforts that advance a more just society. The program educates students in a critical understanding of global governance systems, and the frameworks and agreements that affect Canadian policy. Students will learn about contemporary international issues and the major political, social, economic and environmental forces confronting global communities. Students will undertake a research capstone project and engage in field experience needed to build skills to undertake policy work that addresses oppression and inequality. Further, this innovative program is aligned with skills identified by the Canadian Association of Programs in Public Administration (CAPPA), along with unique training in domains not found in other programs, such as such as community engagement and social justice.
